Statement of Community Support
I support asking the City of Peoria to initiate a collaborative planning process to evaluate the feasibility of creating the Union Hill Greenway as a pedestrian-oriented public green space that:
Celebrates the Historic Moss Avenue corridor
Improves pedestrian safety and neighborhood connectivity
Reduces unnecessary cut-through traffic while maintaining appropriate emergency and service access
Preserves the neighborhood's historic character
Creates lasting public, environmental, and economic value for the community
