The Union Hill Greenway Initiative explores the possibility of transforming this corridor into a vibrant public green - one that celebrates history, strengthens neighborhood connections, improves pedestrian safety, and creates new opportunities for recreation, community gathering, and investment.
This initiative does not promote a predetermined design or outcome. Instead, it encourages a collaborative planning process grounded in thoughtful research, community dialogue, and respect for the neighborhood's historic character.
Whether the final result closely resembles today's concept or evolves through public input, the goal remains the same: to imagine a future for Union Hill that creates lasting value for residents, visitors, and the City of Peoria.
